Who can request a takedown?
Anyone who appears on The FitFolk: people who shared their story through our intake form, and public creators featured in roundups. You don’t need to give a reason.
How do I request one?
Email takedown@thefitfolk.com from an address or account we can reasonably connect to the feature (the email you used in the intake form, or a message from the Instagram account featured). Include the page link if you have it.
What happens next?
- Consented stories: removed within 48 hours of your request.
- Roundup embeds: if you delete or restrict the original Instagram post, it disappears from our pages automatically. On request we’ll also remove the surrounding mention and commentary.
- Search engines: removal from our site takes effect immediately on our end; cached copies in search engines can take a little longer to clear.
